03 / Prepare questions
Make the questions before the guests arrive.
A library is just a saved box of questions. The starter collection is always ready. Recent monthly packs, My packs, Favorites and Archive help organize the sets included with your package. If you have generation credits, prepare your own library ahead of time. When it says Ready, you can use it to make a game.
Choose mixed trivia or type your own theme.
On the host dashboard, expand the optional question tools to find Generate a new question set. Type a topic such as The Beatles, Friends, or space exploration. Add a season limit if you want to avoid later-show spoilers. Leave QUESTION TOPIC blank only if your package includes mixed-generation credits. Otherwise use a ready starter or monthly mixed pack.
Choose how many questions to prepare.
A new independent custom library credit prepares the full 90 approved normal questions and numeric tiebreak reserves. Bonus readiness is separate. At game setup, three wager bonuses are selected and frozen from a finite separately reviewed deck. If suitable unseen entries cannot fill the game, explicitly choose reviewed text wagers or accepted repeats. The small starter deck has no themed visual inventory; text fallback keeps your theme. It has an offline model-assisted content and image review, not a human playtest or a new live source check. The revised workflow is disclosed before you accept it; you may retain your credit and contact support if you require the originally offered fresh-visual preparation. Old saved preparations and games keep their original completion and bonus contracts. One full game uses 30 normal questions and three bonus wagers. Category exclusions are retained. Sports are always excluded.
Select Generate new questions, then wait for Ready.
Preparation continues on our server even if you close the dashboard. Hosts with a saved email receive a Ready or paused notification. Prepare well before game night. Progress is saved. A new independent core needs its requested normal count and numeric reserves; it does not generate picture or emoji clues. Core ready does not mean bonus inventory is ready: game setup checks unseen reviewed bonuses separately and asks for an explicit fallback choice when needed. Existing saved preparations and shared monthly packs retain their original rules.
Keep the answers a surprise if you want to play.
Review questions and answers (spoilers) lets a host inspect a ready library. Keep that section closed to play blind. When you create a new game, the app screens the full lineup for related subjects across rounds. It prefers unused questions, but finite packs eventually repeat. Narrow themes may share related subjects; a mixed pack with too few distinct subjects asks you to choose a broader set. Generating a new library does not rewrite questions in older libraries or games.
Try a clear theme
Good: Friends, seasons 1–3 only. Also good: Space exploration. A very tiny or obscure topic may not have enough suitable questions to finish a library.
What does double-verified mean here?
AI-generated library questions use source evidence and two separate AI review steps. First, a solver answers without seeing the writer's answer key. Next, an editor compares the answer, evidence, wording, and fairness. Questions with failed reviews are left out. These steps help catch mistakes; they cannot guarantee every fact or scoring decision. The built-in mixed collection is a separate question source.
