04 / Create a game
Turn a ready question set into a game.
A library stores questions. A game is the actual event people join. Making a game from a ready library does not generate another question set.
Find a library marked Ready.
For your first game, follow the dashboard’s main next step, name the game and select Open my lobby. Ready starter questions are included; you do not need to generate a pack. To pick a saved pack instead, expand the question tools and select Use this library. More setup choices are optional.
Name your night.
In GAME NAME, type a title such as Tuesday Trivia at The Taproom or Birthday Brain Bash. This is the event name. It does not change the question topic.
Confirm your question source and settings.
Make sure the selected library and its theme are the ones you want. Choose Friendly, Sassy, or Savage-ish. Open Fine-tune game night if you want to change the difficulty mix, bonus point limits, or late-join setting.
Select Create game.
The game opens in a waiting room called the lobby. You will see a fresh game code and a QR code. Questions stay hidden until you start the game.
The host can stay in the game.
You handle the setup, but you do not have to peek at the answers. Join from your own phone like everybody else and compete while the app runs the questions and scoring.
