08 / Parties and bars
From your living room to Tuesday at the bar.
TrivIdiots works for a birthday, a gathering with friends, an online party, or a venue's regular trivia night. The useful part is the same: less time running the machinery, more time with your people.
For a party, keep it simple.
Choose a ready library and create a game. Send the invite link or let teams scan the lobby QR code. Add a TV if you want a bigger shared view; phones alone work too. Pick a theme the group enjoys and a comfortable sass level. The host can join a team and play too.
For a bar, plan the night ahead.
Compare packages at trividiots.live/get-started and choose one for your venue. Email support@trividiots.live if you need help. Prepare questions before the doors get busy. Test the venue's screen, sound, and Wi-Fi, and choose where teams will sit and see the questions.
Explain the rules before pressing Start.
Tell teams to use one phone each. Explain bonus wagers, the creativity half point, answer challenges, and any rules your event uses about looking things up. If your venue offers prizes, tell players those rules separately.
Use saved libraries, then refresh your question supply.
A ready library can be used for another game within your hosting allowance. Recent monthly packs shows the three newest published sets; older months stay in Archive. Search by theme, month or year, and use Next packs to browse six at a time. Favorite a pack to find it quickly across devices. Move your own older packs to Archive and restore them when wanted; questions and saved games are retained. A finite pool eventually repeats questions.
Why choose this over running every piece by hand?
You get a topic you choose, two separate review steps for AI-generated library questions, a QR shortcut for players, automatic timers and scores, visual reveals, and answer-focused humor in one flow. You can host and compete instead of spending the whole night reading a key and adding columns.
